Why is making the statement 'Seize the hand of Scientology' any different from saying 'Seize the hand of Christianity' or 'Seize the hand of Agnosticism'? Personally, I would prefer to live in a pluralistic society in which every individual is entitled to his or her own beliefs (no matter how ridiculous those beliefs may seem to me or anyone else) than to live in an authoritarian society in which the majority decides which dissenting views "must be stopped" and which are permissible. Being agnostic in nature, I see as little sense in Judaism, Christianity, Mormonism, and Islam as I see in Scientology; but I don't feel that any of them 'must be stopped' because, if people are to live in peace, we must be tolerant of divergent beliefs. Just sharing my perspective.

Before you go making statements like this why don't go and read up on the criminal history of the Church of Scientology. The Church of Scientology is not a religion but more of pseudo cult scam that quite aggressively and violently protects itself. For starters read up on Operation Snow White. If you are still unsatisfied there is a lot of great information on the clambake website.
No need to get defensive. I still stand by my statement completely. I support the right of the KKK to exist, and I come from a Jewish family. I believe very strongly in civil liberties. Mormonism supported slavery. Also, you might have learned about this one historical event called the 'Crusades' and the myriad of other similar events. There is also a large group called "Christians United For Israel" that is currently urging preemptive war with Iran in order to start the Apocolyptic war between the 'Sons of Darkness' and the 'Sons of Light' in Israel because they believe we are living in the End of Days and Jesus is going to be resurrected in Jerusalem. Welcome to the world. I guess you can accept pluralism and all that it entails, or you can rally against it.

History minor over here buddy. Religion has screwed up in the past but modernly there isn't a religion that endorses that kind of practices that Scientology does. While some groups do some rather unfortunate things in the name of religion, but it isn't endorsed by the religion. If the KKK started any kind of practice of racists things they did in the past; burning crosses in peoples lawns, killing black people, protecting white people who have wronged black, etc, the United States government would step in the form of the FBI or police and stop them.
The point of what is going on is that scientology is committing crimes and a large enough group of people know this. We're trying to remove their status as a church and get it redefined as a cult which it clearly is and get those who are directly responsible for the crimes they have committed brought to justice.
Stop defending something that you really do not know anything about.
